I just wanted to say "Wow" to Suranne Jones. I imagine being handed a script and finding out that you are going to play the TARDIS has to be extremely daunting. It could have gone wrong in so many ways but I think that Ms. Jones really nailed it. She was frantic and confused but genius - exactly what you would expect of a TARDIS suddenly finding itself in a human and being able to communicate for the first time. And the end when she is saying her goodbye brought a tear to my eye. It was delivered with a perfect mix of joy and sorrow. A really wonderful performance! Well done!

I agree! I'd never seen her in anything before, but I'd read comments that she was awful in a SJA episode, so I was a little apprehensive. But I thought she was brilliant!

I fell in love with her a bit, watching that ep.
She was simply brilliant and it's all the more bittersweet knowing it was a one off.

I've seen her in a few things now & she always been 'ok' to me. Nothing special. Until this - here she was absolutely amazing. Well done Suranne  |

She was excellent. She always seems to play gobby northerners so thats pretty much what I expected here, but she was superb!

She was absolutely amazing. I think it would have been such a tough job for anyone, but she made it her own and totally owned it

I'd forgotten she played Mona Lisa. I didn't think she was awful in that, but as PRG said, nothing that special. I thought she was fantastic in this.
