As much as I loved the episode, I think the title was a bit ridiculous. It did a great job of getting us all to speculate and think, but its even more silly in context than it was before. There are so many cool things that this episode could have been called and it seems a bit like they wasted a title for the sake of a red herring. Anyone else think so or am I just being too picky?

Yes I agree. Whilst I guess it was to make us think it was about River Song, it did seem a bit weird. Although the line "long after we're all gone, it's always you and her" it kinda fits but... yeah, it was weird.

For me personally I think the title was spot on. The TARDIS has been his constant companion for all these years & he speaks to her like she's a person anyway so ... yeah it worked for me & I liked it

I agree with Saber. Now we have seen the episode, the title is pointless and meaningless. They should have gone with something more fitting like The Eternal Companion or something better and not made up on the spot like mine just was. All The Doctor's Wife served to do was stir up fandom. The more I think about it, the more I dislike the title

I agree with PRG. After all the speculation, there's really only one person who could realistically be called the Doctor's wife.

I sort of understand the name, but I think its not a good one. The TARDIS always seemed more like a companion or best friend than a lover or wife. The title I think was nothing more than them just trying to get a rise out of fandom and whether it was good or not, it certainly did that

It was originally going to be called Bigger On The Inside which I think would have been a better title, but perhaps would have given the game away too early

I don't like it. I never did. Titles like this and The Doctor's Daughter are lame. The titles of NuWho in general just aren't as good as they were in the classic series but ones like this have no imagination behind them whatsoever
