America will be getting a new box set release once Miracle Day has begun airing. The first three series of Torchwood will come in a 14 disc set and will be available on July 19th. No word on pricing yet

The name of the set seems a bit odd as it makes the new series sound like a remake as apposed to a continuation which could be a bad move as many people might not feel inclined to watch a remake.

It does sound like its dlightly distanced from the new series, but I would think that that will no doubt change nearer Christmas when we get the boxset with all 4 series in

I just looked and according to the BBC/Warner synopsis for this DVD, they are marking the new series as a 'remake'

Thats probably down to Warner rather than the BBC. I can't imagine this being promoted as a remake

I suppose in the long run it doesnt matter too much how they market it in the US. Its more important that they call it a continuation in the UK I would think.

The UK complete series box is much better than the US one. They should have released that over there
