Next weekend (May 28th & 29th) in the UK, Watch is going all Doctor Who. Throughout Saturday from 9.20am they will be showing the following:

9.20 The Next Doctor
10.45 Doctor Who & the Daleks*
12.20 Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD*
14.00 Doctor Who: The Movie
15.45 The Next Doctor
17.00 Doctor Who at the Proms (DT Proms)

Sunday features a lot of the same stuff with the following differences:

11.45 Army of Ghosts
14.05 Planet of the Dead

The films I've marked * are the Peter Cushing ones which I haven't seen but am curious about so I'll certainly be giving those a watch. Would be nice to see some of the Classic stories in amongst this but ho hum! 2 days of not being able to complain there's nothing on TV is better than nothing  Smiley

I've not seen the Peter Cushing movies so might give them a watch. Isnt Bernard Cribbins in one of them?

Ooh sounds fun, got the house to myself again for the weekend next week... plus no exams until after half term! Definitely tempting!  Grin

Shame about the choices, but doubt they have rights to much.

I miss the heady days of GOLD having classic marathons, even if they were always heavily stacked with Tom Baker stories!

Yeah I agree to an extent. Wonder who has the rights now cause Watch split off from GOLD when that went comedy only  Undecided
