I feel a Dodo-esque element coming to this story. That guy sneezed way too often for it to come to nothing and I think his cold will somehow play to the downfall of the clones. I havent worked out how yet, but thats my initial thought

Dodo's cold was a key plot point in The Ark.  Yes, it definitely wasn't random - unless, of course, it was to do with the conditions they were shooting in.

I think you are right - it is going to be important. Possibly like a War of the Worlds type finale?

The invading Martians, after batting aside all human efforts at resistance, were destroyed by the cold virus.

I like the Dodo link and I think this is quite plausible. It must factor into the story somehow. Whats the point in it otherwise?

WAR OF THE WORLDS - HG wells from Woking Smiley Martians landed in Horsell Common (down the road from here! Tongue my claim to fame!) Tongue

Erm yeah the guy who keeps sneezing is really strange there has to be something more to it, maybe the fact that the clones can't get ill or something... I donno definitely odd

I've been thinking about this and I think there is no question that it has to mean something more important. Perhaps the cold virus somehow deteriorates the clones makeup causing them to melt and die. Or something like that?

I like this theory. The clones are not complete yet if you remember they are "Becoming Human" and if you work on that assumption you could also say that their immune systems are un-complete and I think that will be the logic behind it if your theory turns out to be correct.

I would say without a doubt that it will play a bigger part in the next episode. It was way to emphasized to mean nothing

I think it might have something to do with the immune system of the Gangers or something like that. Maybe the common cold will be their Achilles Heel or something

Maybe his B cells didn't differentiate into plasma cells to make antibodies, or maybe they didn't differentiate into memory cells last time he got ill!  Tongue Tongue

Too much biology revision!  Tongue
