I've brought this up with a couple of friends who seem divided, but I think Jen would make a great companion in the TARDIS. She is nice and kind but not afraid to speak up and have her say. I think she and Matt would work great together. What do you think?

Yea I think she would be as good a candidate as any. It would be interesting if she was in there with Rory but without Amy. They had good chemistry within just a few scenes, but I wouldnt want any romantic entanglement.

I think she would be ok. And you never know, there is a good chance we have already seen our next companion and it could well be Jen. All of the previous actors, with the exception of Billie/Rose were seen in the show in some form before they became full time companions.

Peri-Peri, I will simply restate it. Mark Shepperd for Doctor #12. You know it makes sense I think Jen would work - but she is a little 'safe' for a companion. I think there is probably someone else who would add a little more depth to the role. |

I like the character a lot, but perhaps she is a bit too meek and innocent for a companion. I think we need someone stronger or it might run the risk of just going back to the screaming damsel type companion
