The Torchwood Character Battle - And the winner is ...

Hello, and welcome to the Torchwood Character Battle

There won't be a theme of good guys or bad guys throughout this battle, we have just taken a cross-section of some of the more prominent characters for inclusion. There may be some that you think deserve a place but who don't appear, but due to limit constraints we couldnt fit everyone in. We did however try to get the most memorable characters included.

So on we go

The bracket is below. If you like to be surprised each day then do not look at this:

Here are the rules.

- Please put votes in BOLD so they are easier to count
- If you would like to change your vote, make a new post announcing your change. Do not edit your original post.
- Vote changes will not be allowed after Round 2.
- Iceman put this rule in effect because it will add another difficult dimension and that keeps people from flip flopping too much. So get all your vote changing out in the first 2 rounds.
- In the event of a tie, a 1 hour extension will be given and someone who has not voted already will vote. Only the first vote within that hour time period counts. If 2 or more people vote, all the votes but the first one will be null and void. If no one votes within the hour then I will flip a coin.

John Frobisher VS Diane Holmes

John Frobisher

John Frobisher was the Permanent Secretary to the Home Office and Torchwood 3's liaison to the British government. He was later appointed informal ambassador to the 456. Passionate and driven, his job became increasingly difficult when all around him began to shirk any responsibility for the disaster that was unfolding.

Diane Holmes

In 1953 Diane Holmes was a pilot. On December 18th she, John Ellis and Emma-Louise Cowell were on their way to Dublin. But somehow the plane flew through the Rift and ended up in present day Cardiff.

I just sneaked a peak at the next couple of battles and there are some great characters in the mix for this one. TW has produced some great characters

Captain Jack Harkness was a 52nd Century conman. He was reluctantly made immortal and stranded on Earth from the mid-19th to the early 21st century. During much of that time, he worked for Torchwood

Lisa Hallett was an employee at Torchwood Tower in London at the time of the Battle of Canary Wharf. She was partially upgraded by the Cybermen and was hidden in the basement of Torchwood Three by Ianto Jones
