I thought perhaps a clone or something, but I didnt expect her to be part of the Flesh. At least, not until the very end

I have to be honest I never thought she was going to end up being a Ganger. For me it was a great little twist

It was only when he asked Rory to move away that the penny dropped for me - though even then I wasn't 100% certain that was exactly what it was going to be. It could still have been something else.

That's where I started to twig, but even then I had a feeling he would zap her and she would turn into a Silent or something

definitely agree, I thought he was going to zap her into a silent or some creature for a moment!

I knew she would go splat, it seemed the logical answer, especially after the zapping of "scary" Jen...

But I guessed she wasn't Amy, I had it confirmed as soon as the Doc said breathe to her again, or something, just before they went in the tardis

I had not the vaguest idea Cheesy

Am I right to assume that is why the TARDIS was getting those anomalous scan readings? (If I had a pound for every time i said that in real life...)?

I think so. It would make sense as to why it was only sort of picking it up. I'd like to know how the Doctor went from 'is she pregnant' to 'must be a clone made from living flesh made in a lab' though.

I think that is an excellent point and I am hoping we get some pay back on that - otherwise you are right it is quite a causal leap! I am sure that is the first question Rory will ask next week

Let's hope so. Because in that respect there are quite a few loose strands to this story. There seemed to be a couple of leaps of logic throughout where we were supposed to accept that stuff just happened or people just worked things out without the actual working out part

I am just assuming the TARDIS picked up that she was no longer registering as fully human at some point....

I think the Doctor has had suspicions about Amy since she told him she wasn't pregnant after all. I mean, she was so adamant and so insistent about it at one of the most inopportune moments possible; then all of a sudden it's "WHOOPS, I WAS WRONG LOL". That's when I suspected something was up with her, anyway. The TARDIS scan likely only intensified his doubts.

Still though, there could have been countless explanations other than 32nd century Earth Flesh clone. There must be some reason he acted on that assumption before any others...

I didn't get she was the Flesh until the Doctor told her to breathe, for like certain I only had suspicions before with my friend, we said both Amy and Rory were Flesh because of the way they fell and woke up, just a theory at first but I didn't confirm it to myself until this episode but think about it, we all thought she was a zygon before so we were on the right lines Smiley

I knew that the Doctors had swapped. I thought that was very obvious, but Amy turning to mush in the TARDIS? Never expected that at all! It was a total jaw/floor moment for me
