Hey all,

Not sure my subject is that well thought out there...

Basically, there are pics going round of Matt Smith photographed sunbathing in - I think - Ibiza, but he is in the company of **** women, including Daisy Lowe.

I was just wondering if anyone else could see him getting a wee knuckle rapping over this by the BBC, now that they seem intent on going down the "aimed squarely at kids" route with our favourite Timelord?

Personally it wouldn't surprise me, but at the same time, fair play to him!

I was wondering the same thing when I saw the photos the other day. To be honest, Matt cant help being papped, and these days women sunbathe **** on pretty much any beach. He was on holiday and his girlfriend got her boobs out. The BBC might not like it, but they dont have any right pulling him up on it. She is his girlfriend after all. Its not like he was on his own and went there for a perv.

Totally agree, but I really wouldn't be shocked if he got a bollocking.
Suppose it depends how much coverage it gets in the tabloids really?

More often than not, the BBC need to wind their neck in over stuff like this. I know they are running a business, but people have lives aside from Doctor Who and Easteneders and whatever other shows they put out there. Too often you read about them coming down on stars for silly things when its not necissary

Good God - surely not??  Angry

What's so shocking about **** bathing? You'd be hard pressed to go anywhere now where it isn't happening?

Honestly... Roll Eyes

He's on holiday, with his girlfriend, who happens to be **** and they are then 'papped'.  Is that his fault?  Or are people trying to create a problem where none exists and *hope* he gets into trouble......

I dont think people hope he gets into trouble. The BBC are well known for being anal and coming down hard on the stars of its flagship shows. As I said above, EastEnders for example has seen people sacked for being papped in nightclubs too much etc. If they deem it to have a negative effect on them or the shows, they will come down hard. Its just what they do

I agree. This is only news because someone saw fit to take a picture and write a crappy story around it. Most people wouldn't even get a mention. The BBC are known for being strict but they would look stupid if they made an issue out of this

I think there's a difference between being papped falling out of a nightclub at 4am one too many times when you have work the next day and being photographed on a **** beach whilst on holiday.

I really can't see the BBC having any problems with it at all.

Generally it isnt an issue. But even though most papers will pay people to get their **** out, when someone does it in an innocent way just on a beach, they make their money out of it, then make a deal out of it, like its the most shocking thing in the world
