Bernard Cribbins is to be awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for Services To Drama.
Cribbins, known to millions as Doctor Who's Wilfred Mott, has a career spanning over 50 years, having made appearances in The Railway Children and Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150AD as well as presenting Jackanory and voicing of the Wombles.
Well deserved I say.
