Hard to discuss for those who are watching online, but for those who have the DVD for this, how awesome are the bonus features for this story? More often than not the bonus features on a story are great anyways, but they are just exceptionally strong on this release I thought. My favourite is the Then & Now feature looking at the locations as they were in 64 compared to now. I always love stuff like that so I love when they show up on the DVD's.

One thing I didn't remember from the first time I watched the bonuses was Spencer Chapman's revelation that the "skirt" around the bottom of the Daleks was intended from the start to imply they could levitate, although it was never actually shown happening till Remembrance - presumably for budget reasons.  So much for all the jokes about Daleks and stairs.

On the Now & Then stuff, does it look at the scenes where they are running around London with the Wheelchair. There were some great shots in there and I would love to see how they compare. I hate not being able to watch the bonus stuff but I love the story so far so will definately be picking up the DVD at some point

TC you really should. This one comes with a whole disc of extras and some of them are amazing. And also yes, the Now & Then segment shows the difference of the London locations. You see buildings that are no longer there and roads that are no no longer used and so are overgrown and deserted. Things like that. They also explain in one of the features how they managed to film it with London looking so empty. Some great interviews too Smiley

Yes, the Now and Then stuff is excellent on all the releases its on. It's a shame they don't make them more often, but I do always check.

One bonus I LOVE! that runs throughout every release is the info text that you can put on when you are watching and tells you random production details. Those things are addictive and I always end up watching things over because I miss half the story while reading
