Poll: Rate & Review The King's Demons

I suppose the average of 3 isn't too bad. I quite like this story but I expected it to rate lower than it has

I think an average of three is fair. Especially given that some people have nothing, or very little to compare it too. That is why I went with a three. I don't love this but I know that there are many others that deserve lower scored

I went with a two. I'm not keen on this story to be honest. It would probably have gotten a 1, but for reasons similar to what Ex says above, I couldnt justify rating it so low and putting it in the same league as things like The Dominators or The Web Planet

[Dame Roger]

Another 3 from me. I like the medieval setting, it has some good supporting characters, moves along quite quickly, and I think Anthony Ainley is superb in it.
However, why is the Master doing something as petty as this? He's supposed to be trying to take over the universe, not trying to somehow set back the development of the English legal system by making an unpopular king, erm, unpopular. Also they never really resolve it properly: the Doctor leaves the Master behind, his current dastardly scheme foiled but still very much in place and able to come up with a plan B should he so choose. It feels like the story didn't so much resolve as just run out of time.
Plus, Tegan is at her most whiny and irritating all the way through, and Kamelion is rubbish.

In fact, I'd probably give it 2 and a half, but I'm rounding up.

I gave it a 3 but most of that was for potential rather than actual content because I think the story could have been great but it was only mediocre with what they did with it. The Master was used badly and the story felt under developed, but there were a few good things with it
