Hey gang,

Caught Flesh & Stone on BBC3 last night, and all through I kept wondering - is there any chance we'll see him again?

As I've gushed in many threads, Iain Glen is simply a fantastic actor (Tomb Raider aside) and with Flesh & Stone taking place after River has killed her "good man" & being trusted to the care of Octavian, the possibility is there, isn't it?

Admittedly there's the RL issue of Glen being in Game of Thrones, so maybe it's just a pipe dream - have any of you heard any mention of him reappearing?

I had assumed that although he knew what she had done he was just accompanying her on that one particular mission so we wouldnt be seeing him again, but I suppose if they wanted to and he was up for it then it would be cool to see him again

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

Great OP because I have thought much the same thing actually. I thought he played the dignified part very well (including getting the Doctor to admit that it had been wrong of him to be so contemptuous of Octavian). I would welcome a return showing!

I thought the scenes between him and The Doctor - especially his death - were absolutely brilliant.

My thinking was that if we're going to see what River does in the back half of series 6 (please don't drag it on any further!) then we could maybe have him present at The Stormcage?
