If Driscoll was taken over as soon as he picked up the ring, why didn't he just take the hand straight into the core, instead of having to get it back there?  It's possible, of course, that the influence takes time to build up, but there was no real indication of that.

If there was a nuclear explosion, would you seriously hide behind a car? Grin

Pulling someone out of rubble with potentially a whole load of internal injuries, without any sort of support, especially on the neck, head and spine, would never happen.

When the hand starts to climb out of the plastic box you can see the slit which has been cut in it for someone to stick their arm through.

The spanner they use is very obviously a big foam fake. The only other thing that really stood out was the one that Tardis-Console mentioned about hiding behind the car. If surviving a nuclear blast was as simple as driving a few feet away and then hiding behind the vehicle the world would be a much simpler place Grin

If you are in the path of a nuclear explosion, even with a jeep for protection Tongue, pinching your nose and opening your mouth won't do much to help, and I think perferated eardrums would be the last of your worries Grin

Pretty much everything relating to the nuclear power was wrong. They had some very silly ideas

Haha it is so stupid, but it's one of my favourite scenes because the look on SJ's face is priceless Tongue
