I have opened this poll and thread because we are collecting data in order to rank stories. Please could you take a minute and rate this story? Smiley

You do not need to give a reason for your vote, though obviously feel free to do so as it is a good way of initiating discussions Smiley

Full marks from me on this. I truly believe that this story doesn't get anywhere near the credit it deserves. The Gelth were a little lame in realisation, but their purpose and how they served the story worked brilliantly. D!ckens was wonderful and played superbly and the sets and costumes looked brilliant. It was definately one of my favourites of the series

4 from me for this. I thought it was a great story with some strong and believable characters. It gave a bit more of a background to the Doctor's life after the Time War and the consequences of it, which was a nice touch. Rose was strong throughout and Eve was brilliant as Gwynyth, or however it's spelt.

I gave this a 2. I loved it at first and I still think it is a good story, but I enjoy it less and less the more I watch it. Mr Sneed is particularly annoying and the Gelth were a bit rubbish too. However, the sets and costumes were wicked and the guy who played D!ckens was great. This was also the first story where I really started to like Rose. I wish I had given it a 3 now. Guess its too late to change that though

This got a 3 from me. As a historical story, and the first one since the revival at that, it does exactly what it sets out to do, but I think the plot was a bit thin on the ground and the graphics for the Gelth were a bit weak. Though in fairness, everything about the Gelth was a bit weak I felt. Some good performances in there though and some great sets and costumes.

I absolutely loved this story! A proper "historical" story right out of the Classic Who tradition. Top acting, top writing and great effects. 5/5 all the way Smiley

Four from me. To be honest, I think I was just being a bit hard assed with my votes because I can't really think of a good reason why I voted it down from a 5. I pretty much love it all

This is another story that I really like. The portrayal of Charles Dickens is amazing & I love all the references to his books. I love the fact that it is the first time in New Who that the Doctor shows he doesn't always end up where he intended. And he has some great lines. Yes the Gelth aren't great but I can overlook that because I'm enjoying everything else so much - costumes, setting, snow/Christmas, oh & did I mention Charles Dickens!  Tongue Full marks.

I don't think they will lift the ban on d!ck, but cr4ck is just a silly thing to ban. Maybe they are worried we are drug pushers or something Tongue

I gave this one a 4. I really enjoy it every time I watch, but I just couldn't bring myself to give it a 5. Something about it niggles me but I can't put my finger on what it is

I've given this a three, almost a four. It was a strong good story but it just didn't keep me gripped at the edge of my seat to reach the super high levels. But a good story with a great ending nevertheless. I'd really give this a 3.6 if I could.
