Jasmine is a withdrawn but intelligent child whose new 'friends' exploit her suppressed anger, and while investigating this, Jack encounters elemental enemies from his past that are determined to harm those closest to him.

Wasn't really a bad episode but wasn't really great either. Shame that Jack/Estelle thing didn't go further because that could have been interesting, but I really liked the whole "Innocent child" thing with Jasmine. Smiley

I gave this a five. As well as being a good story, I love the way they took fairies, something that little kids love and believe in, and turned them into scary ugly killers. Very creepy.

You know what Peri, I think you are spot on. I love when a show or movie or book takes the normal or mundane or the things your love and flips it on its head and makes you question it. I also love all the stuff with Estelle and Jack. I gave this one a 4

I think this one deserves a 4.

One thing recently for me that made this story stand out was the whole thing with Miracle Day and Oswald being a paedophile. People were very up in arms about Torchwood having a character and story about paedophilia, but we already had one in the very first series and it either didn't matter or just seemed to pass everyone by
