This is definitely my favorite story for the fifth Doctor. It's the first story where Davison really
feels like the Doctor. Before, he could be an ordinary guy whose strong and brave and awesome, but a normal guy nonetheless. In Caves of Androzani he felt like the Doctor to me. He was very flippant, and that could've been part of it. Funnily enough, Davison said this was the first story where he really knew how to play the part. It shows.
