I have opened this poll and thread because we are collecting data in order to rank stories. Please could you take a minute and rate this story? Smiley

You do not need to give a reason for your vote, though obviously feel free to do so as it is a good way of initiating discussions Smiley

I think my vote may reflect comments someone (Saber?) made in the Hand of Fear discussion - this is another story with a lot more emotional poignancy since April, but take that out of the equation & I believe the meat & bones is just an ok story.
The Krillitanes weren't the point of the story, merely an afterthought which is a shame, as Tony Head was wasted here.

I think TFD is right. At the end of the day it is just an OK story made more poignant by the fact that LS has passed away. I gave it a three because I thought LS was brilliant, I loved seeing K9 and Anthony Head, although wasted in a silly role, was brilliant. The ending is a bit of a tearjerker too, but the plot and the monsters were both a bit naff

I gave this a four. It was a story of loads of firsts for me. I'd never heard of Sarah Jane or K9 before and I really liked both after watching. Wasn't keen on the Krillitanes but I think that the story took a back seat for the most part anyways and this was just all about having SJS back for an episode.

Giving it a 3. Not a bad story but not really a great story in my opinion. It seemed more a reason to bring Sarah Jane back and for Mickey to join.

I gave this one a four. It had a lovely classic feel to it. The Krillitanes and their rubbishness is what lost it the point

I gave this one a four. The story wasn't the best but it worked well enough in the job of reintroducing Sarah Jane and just having her back for a bit was brilliant

I gave it a four but really it's a 3.5. The plot isn't very good but I liked the nostalgia even if the first time I saw this I had no idea who Sarah Jane was.
