I have opened this poll and thread because we are collecting data in order to rank stories. Please could you take a minute and rate this story? Smiley

You do not need to give a reason for your vote, though obviously feel free to do so as it is a good way of initiating discussions Smiley

Worst. Episode. Of. Any. show. EVER.
I wish I could erase it from my mind.

Oh there are worse episodes of other shows, though now many. Its easily one of the worst of Who though for sure.

I gave this one a two, though I was perhaps being generous

I gave this one a three. I didn't totally hate it and I think some of it was quite funny but all of the awful Peter Kaye stuff is what drives the mark down. The character stuff and some of the more comedic scenes though aren't so bad. I think it's sometimes a bit more heavily criticised than it deserves.

A two from me. There was a lot of character focus which I appreciate, and it should get points for trying something new, but for the most part it was pretty rubbish

I gave this a four. I used to hate it, but I enjoy it much more everytime I watch. I think it's just got such a reputation for being a bad story that it clouds peoples views when they watch it. It really isn't as bad as some make out, even myself in the past

Three. I loved this up until the part with the Abzorbaloff and the stone-slab Ursula. But it did introduce me to the ELO and it was such a happy "celebrate life" story that I think that balances it out. Maybe even a 3.3...

I didn`t really like it because there was not enough story, Doctor, or Rose, and too much backround, distractions, and overly flirty Jackie!! Cry Although I did like the beginning with the buckets and Roses second entrance..."You upset me mum. No one upsets me mum!" But really... blood-curtling scream coming from where you just left, then you loose all contact with your friend! And no one is suspicious! When they have been trained to search for crazy stuff like that! Whats your deal writers!!!!!!

I always think this gets a bit of a bad rap! It really experiments and tries to push the boundaries of the show. I think it is very well written by RTD and I think it taps into fandom by gently poking fun at us. It has very touching (and very silly moments) at the end. Definitely an acquired taste, but a story which gets better on rewatch

This story always sticks in my mind as a bad one, but I always quite enjoy it whenever it's on. I think if the Abzorbaloff was played by someone else I wouldn't have such a distaste for it, but Peter Kay is sooooo annoying. Also the oral sex joke at the end just isn't funny, as hard as it tries to be.
