There are some good and very interesting features on this release that I thought were worth a mention.
Girls, Girls, Girls! was a brilliant feature on the female companions from throughout the 60's. It was an odd release to include it on I thought and perhaps The War Machines or even The War Games would have been a better place to include it, but still it was a brilliant piece. There is also a great look at the set designs and models.
One thing I wasn't keen on was James Moran comparing his episode to this. I love The Fires of Pompeii but it is widely acknowledged that most of his work on that story had to be rewritten by RTD so it felt a bit self congratulatory and fake.

I totally agree about the feature with James Moran. I might be a bit biased though because I am not particularly keen on him anyway. He just doesn't seem very likeable.
The Girls Girls Girls feature is particularly good because it is one of the few features (until the Meglos release) to feature anything significant about Barbara or Jacqueline Hill, though even that was minimal due to the fact she had already passed away.

James Moran always seems to think very highly of himself and his writing but I have never particularly rated him and he comes off as very smug on these extras

The Girls Girls Girls feature is one of my favourite features. It's a brilliant insight with some good interviews, but I agree this was a random set to put it on. The infotext for this story is also brilliant, but then it always is

James Moran is always the same, be it on the extras or on his website/blog or Twitter. He can't stop praising himself. He has a very high, but misjudged opinion of himself and he has never been a particularly good writer

Yea it's sometimes a nightmare finding the extras online because people don't tend to upload them too often. Its worth a look though
