This was for me a very poor effort and I think so much more could have been done with it. Cybermen terrorising Victorian London sounds amazing in theory, but this was just not good. Dervla Kerwin was great and the girl who played Rosita too, but I was so dissapointed in the guy playing Jackson and I was mortified for all the calls for him to be the next Doctor. Fingers crossed it never happens

I wouldnt want him as the next Doctor, but he was good enough in his role I think. I went with a 3 because there was some quite interesting plot points in this, but overall it wasn't brilliant

Dervla Kirwan...out of five, I'd give her one! Sorry, very smutty, but she is the only reason this scores a point!

This story always gets a bad rap and its a shame as I rather enjoyed it. I thought the plot was a bit naff, but plotting was never Rusty's strong suit. He was much more a drawer of characters. The story, therefore isn't really about the giant Cybermen - it is about a man seeking to make sense of a horrifically tragic event and the Doctor helping him through it. Taken in that context, the story makes a lot more sense. Dervela Kirwan ripped chunks out of the script and made a really good baddie, the Cybermen added a bit of classic Who cache to proceedings. But I thought David Morrissey was splendid - and I wouldn't have minded at all to see him as the Next Doctor. I guess thats the joy of the show - one person's Twin Dilemma is another person's Caves of Androzani
