2 for this one too. Wasn't so keen. Though I do appreciate it more when I rewatch.

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

I rather enjoyed this one - it had some lovely moments in and it was a brilliant "second story". By that I mean, it nicely set up the way in which the Doctor and Amy interact and you clearly see the embryo of their relationship. I actually wish Karen Gillen had kept this slightly gentler side of Amy and I think I would have liked her lots more from the off.

I gave this a four Smiley

I gave this a three. I liked the story and the way it delved deeper into Amy's character, but the ending was a bit grating with Amy repeating the same thing over and over until it sunk in with everyone (which I think for most it did first time round) and the stuff with the Smilers really bugged me. Moff promised something that could have been so evil and scary but then failed to deliver. He did also say that Prisoner Zero would be one of the scariest villains yet, too, and that certainly didn't meet the hype either

4/5

I liked the development with Amy's character and I thought the story was a good one. I particularly loved Liz 10 and it was good to see her again in the finale

I didn't mind this episode but it wasn't as good as I had hoped given the hype for it with the smilers and winders etc. I gave it a 3

I'm not always kind to The Beast Below. I remember watching TEH, my first ever episode of DW, and seeing the trailer for TBB and being so excited, and then when I watched it I enjoyed it, but not as much as I would have liked. I've not rewatched it very much over the last year but I am rewatching it right now as I type and I am really, really enjoying it so much more. I think sometimes it's helpful to step away from certain episodes and then go back to them later. I felt the same way after rewatching Love & Monsters a little while back. Let's hope the same thing occurs when I get to Victory, next Smiley
