Three. It was fine until the spitfires and then I wanted to just turn it off. All the 'we do believe in fairies' stuff with Bracewell was beyond cheesy too.

This one gets a 2. I don't mind the new Daleks so much but the Ironsides were awesome and should have been kept. The spitfires were a very silly and unbelievable plot device and brought the whole story down and the stuff with Bracewell thinking himself out of being a bomb was really dull. It had its moments but overall this story really didn't work for me.

To me the setting is good, the Daleks look fine (they were the first I'd ever seen) and the story is pretty decent. Not my favourite but I gave it a 4

I think this was just awful. I don't mind the new Daleks too much, but the story was ****

Ironsides looked epic, but please someone stop letting Gatiss write for Who. Fat Skittle Daleks? Baron Silas Von Churchill? Awful episode. 1 point only for the Ironsides.

I've defended my like for this episode elsewhere so I won't go into it again - but silliness aside I really like it. Ironsides, jammie dodgers, a WW2 setting & yes even the spitfires (I freely admit I cheered when they turned up again in AGMGTW) & the new Daleks. I do acknowledge it's not perfect though hence 4/5

Giving this one a 2. I like the Daleks in the episode but I don't like the way they were able to prevent the guy from blowing up. Seemed like a cop out.

Ah, the wonderful joy of our show - looking at the comments in this thread you'd think that we had watched two different shows. For my part, I loved it as an enjoyable romp which didn't take itself so seriously. I have certainly seen worse episodes and I thought Matt Smith was (again) exceptional and I loved Ian McNiece as Churchill.

Only a two from me for this. It had so much potential but it was all wasted. It started off great but by the end it was awful.
