That's actually one of the lowest AI ratings I have seen for the classics (though most of my knowledge of them comes from here, admittedly)

Yea I don't think any of the classics we have watched have scored lower than a 60. It obviously wasn't appreciated in its time

I guess it's just the way it goes. This is a really highly regarded story but I guess when it was new people weren't as keen. I wasn't around back then so I don't know either way, but the fact it got lower than The Twin Dilemma makes me think that's probably what it was |
