I went with a four this week. It was so close to a five but there were a few things in there that weren't so great. Like some of the others too I found a lot of the sound to be quite muffled which was annoying. I'm mainly being nitpicky though because overall I thought it was a great story.

I had to watch it twice to get into it. I liked it better the second time. I think they dragged out the room to room bit too long. Terrific premise. Frankly some of the rooms were not that interesting.I loved the loss of faith angle. However they wasted it. This is not up to their usual standard. Is anyone concerned about next week being pretty much the same as the last two? I am worried this series has gone down hill.

I hope so. This is the only series on TV I am currently enthusiastic about. I am not ready to give up on it.

It still just doesn't sit well with me that Amy and Rory are fine with the fact that their child was taken from them and is now all grown up.

You should never give up on Who. It changes too often so it never goes through bad patches for long

Exactly - Ironically enough, I'd have stopped watching around 'The Horns of Nimon'  The Doc is right, stick with it because you will be richly rewarded. Maybe not this week and maybe not next week but the great joy of the show is that it can, quite literally regenerate

I have a thought on this and I cannot actually believe the Moff (who keeps plugging his kids at every opportunity - not a criticism, just an observation) would let something like this go. So perhaps we are going to get this addressed as part of the finale. Perhaps a line such as "Haven't you noticed how unconcerned you've been at missing Melody..." or something like that.

Apropos the sound; BBC HD sound is notoriously rubbish (insert techno-stuff about bandwidths and the size of an HD signal etc) The Strictly Come Dancing mafia get on about this on a regular basis, so it is not, sadly, unique to Doctor Who.

I gave this a five, only the second (I think) of series 6. It was basically everything that Mark Gatiss' episode should have been, but wasn't. Brillant characters and a great setting with lots of intrigue and suspense. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Um... I watch on BBC HD but I don't notice any problems... I never have!

Full marks from me. I was really impressed with the story, despite feeling that it would end up a dud. It ticked all the boxes that Mark Gatiss, who wrote a similar type of story, missed out on. It wasn't the best episode of DW by any stretch, but it was a great effort and one I think I will probably rewatch a fair bit

Maybe I didn't understand it fully, due in part to the poor sound in some bits of dialogue, but I wasn't particularly wowed by the episode.

I'll likely give it a 3, but I always like to wait til I rewatch before voting.

I've gone with a four. I thought it was a good fun story with a few nice creepy bits and a good creation of tension. Some of the bits felt a bit muddled though and like others, sound was in issue for me. I thought Rita stood out as a really good guest star and was gutted when she died. All in all a good story though I thought

I have gone with a four on this story. If possible I would have given it 4.5, but I never mark up so it got a four. I thought the premise was interesting and I liked how they worked the faith angle. The Doctor was better than he had been in the last few weeks and the incoming characters were well rounded and interesting. As with others, I watched in HD and had trouble understanding some of the dialogue. I watch in HD every week and it's never happened before so I put it down to the editing here rather than blaming HD

This was an extremely fun episode to watch, I loved the premise, there was amazing dialogue, and everything was awesome. Almost. I have to agree, this no sadness for your missing child thing is getting a little old. Plus, Rory has to have a faith in something. Himself even?
