I have gone with a 5. It was very nearly a 4 but I was feeling generous. It had some awesome character moments and was quite a funny episode but some of the Cyber stuff felt a bit weak to me.

I went with a four. I loved the majority of it, but the stuff with Craig loving his way out of being converted felt a bit lame.

I'm going with a 5, though I feel like I might be being a tiny bit generous. There were a couple of elements I wasn't as keen on, but I loved 95% of it

I went with four. Most of the elements were great, but I found it a little bits-and-piecesy as a story. The Cybermen just felt tacked to provide a thread that didn't need to take up time being explained. I did love the stuff with the Doctor, Craig and AlfieStormageddon.

I think I must be watching a different show than you guys? 2 from me. The whole series is just too wanky now. Love conquers all, including cybermen? Please. At least they showed some 1980's continuity with them wanting a fat cyber leader again . After the previews saying the last five minutes were "oh my god", I thought it'd be something special, but I really can't be bothered finding out how it all ends now. Apologies for anyone who gets a reflex eye roll at seeing me complain again, but I'm not gonna lie and watch the show through rose (pun intended) tinted glasses. (and unlike twitter, here we all respect each other's opinions!) Smith is absolutely fine as The Doctor, but Moffat needs to go away with all this "look how smart I am" crap. For the episode itself, some of the baby talk stuff was fine, but it's been done already. The story was pure filler - and funny how much they looked like Cybus versions when they'd been "buried for thousands of years". And the end bit with the "eyewitnesses" was just silly. I'll shut up now.

4 out of 5 from me. I preferred it to The Lodger that's for sure. Some of the love stuff with the Cybermen made me cringe which is why it lost a point, but the rest of it was pretty good.

Another great great episode. Okay it got a little over-sentimental at one point, but there was so much brilliance going on I could more than live with that. Some of the best one-liners this year too.

A tough one to grade this. As I was watching it I loved every second of it. I thought the counterpoint of Craig & Alfie as being absolutely new and young contrasted well with an ancient Time Lord approaching the end of his stellar existence. I thought it was a lovely light, funny and well written script. And then I had a sneaky re-watch almost immediately afterwards... Firstly, the main resolution to the story didn't hold up on closer examination. I am sure there are many 'upgraded' Cyberpeople who really love their kiddies yet it never seems to stop them being Cyber-tized in the past. And I am willing to bet it won't stop them in the future. Second, where did these Cybermen come from? What were they doing there? Were the missing people Cybertized? What did the Doctor do about them or did he just shrug his shoulders, as long as his mate was ok? Second, i know it was only me but the 'Stormaggedon' thing was just silly. Yes it was cute and funny the first couple of times but perhaps this is just down to a sense of humour failure on my part. Third: I love a good Cybermat as much as the next person. But where did they come from? Why were they there (I know they were scavenging for energy but why?) Why did they have teeth? I just thought they were, like the Stormageddon business, just kind of tossed into the mix with the spirit of "Yey! Lets have the Cybermats return" rather than having a solid rationale for including them. So, the story is not perfect by any means. But despite these three (not insignificant) problems, i still really really enjoyed it. Season 6 has been (conceptually) the most ambitious ever attempted. I was full of expectation and anticipation and (by-and-large) it has delivered. Closing Time wasn't perfect but in places it was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. Kind of Season 6 in a microcosm. I gave it 4

4/5 for me.. Great start, fantastic teaser ending but sagged a bit in the middle for me (TWSS, I know ).

I have given this story a score of 4/5. While I enjoyed the majority of it I thought that the Cybermen were underused and used poorly in the scenes they were in. Some of the one liners were excellent and the bulk of the characterisation was brilliant so I think 4 is fair

I gave it a 3. I was not wowed, but I didn't hate it either. I thought "The Lodger" was much funnier. I thought this one was supposed to be, but I can't recall one funny thing. For the episode itself, some of the baby talk stuff was fine, but it's been done already. The story was pure filler - and funny how much they looked like Cybus versions when they'd been "buried for thousands of years". And the end bit with the "eyewitnesses" was just silly. I agree with this. A Cybermen episode should not be filler, and if the baby's crying was "rebooting" Craig why didn't they just turn the sound off? How did those files and pictures of the eyewitness kids survive until the what, 52nd century? Isn't everything in digital storage by then?

I say a 4. Yes, the resolution was sappy. Yes, they have done "I speak baby" before. Yes, the Cybermen and any PLOT to speak of were nearly non-existent. But it was a good episode, that made me feel happy, laugh, go "so that's how...", go "aww," and go "YES!" Plus, it had a cool ending teaser bit. Little things are what make the world go round, and keep me watching Doctor Who. Shutting up now.

I went with a 5. Some bits were a bit naff like the lave saves the day ending and the Cybermen weren't used particularly well, but I loved it all the same. It had some brilliant witty dialogue and the character moments were cool. I wasn't a big fan of The Lodger so I didn't expect to like this one very much, but it was really good.
