I have opened this poll to collect scores for the episodes of series 6. The main series six section is still open to discuss the stories in more depth, but please rate this story for us in here and give your thoughts too if you wish.

I gave this one a 5, though mainly because it had some of the best character writing I have seen on DW. Even the bit players felt well rounded and fleshed out. The story was good and kept me hooked for the whole time too. The only thing I didn't like was the ganger baby. Still makes me uncomfortable to watch when it turns to goo

I agree with T-C, the baby ganger bit is enough for me to give this 4/5

Giving this a 2. I still don't see much point to the episode than the last 10 minutes or so and I'm still pretty lost with who some of these random guest characters were and everything!

I don't think it's really that you're lost. I think you are supposed to not fully understand everything because a lot of it will be explained later in the series. Like the stuff with the guest cast. So far everyone is lost with that because we have no idea why they all owe the Doctor a debt.

Anyway, I went with 5. I thought it was brilliant from start to finish, but even if I didn't, I would probably rate it highly anyway, purely for the stuff with Jenny and the Silurian

I went with a four. It had so much going on for it, but I marked it down because I am too impatient to wait for all the things that need answering and there were a few bits that didn't make sense

This one gets full marks as well. I thought it built up nicely through the episode to a brilliant ending, and while it wasn't exactly a 'life changing cliffhanger', it did make me hate the thought of having to wait 3 months for the next episode

I went with a four. The beginning felt a little dragged out and I hate that Moff keeps trying to imply that Amy bumped uglies with the Doctor, only for it to be false again. There is only so many times it can be done without getting annoying

I went with a 5 - I've watched it loads since broadcast & I still thoroughly enjoy it. All the guest characters were great - really well fleshed out in such a short period of time. And the ending still gets me - maybe not the major cliffhanger we were promised but it was brill nonetheless.

I really like this poll - allowing mature reflection after my somewhat hysterical reaction immediately after the screening and seeing how this fits in with "Lets Kill Hitler" allows for a more considered response...

Wooooooooooooooooha - this is an awesome episode Smiley It is not perfect by any means (but then, neither was Genesis of the Daleks and that is an awesome story as well). It really was like a mini-feature film, with breathtaking highs and some real moments to ponder on.

If you are in any way interested I have collated my personal scores for season 6 and, but for COTBS (which I gave a 4 to) they are all 5s (and good strong 5s as well). This was an utterly amazing half season.
