Although many people saw it coming a mile off, I like that they tried something new with this character and didn't make him just another run of the mill bad alien for them to do battle with. Instead of the usual alien monster that is played by a man in a rubber suit, Koquillion actually is a man in a rubber suit! It was a great way to play with the expectations of the audience I think

It was definately an interesting concept. We had had bad/naughty humans before, but the intent and actions of this one was all different and I suppose in that sense made it seem all the much scarier

It's so long since this was new to me, I can't remember how predictable it was, but I think it's effective all the same.
The one weak link in the story is that, on what looks like a relatively small ship, it's strange Vicki knew nothing about the murder.

Koquillion actually is a man in a rubber suit!
And he's have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those pesky kids

On a more serious note though, and not strictly related to this story, I don't understand why they use Koquillion in The Mind Of Evil like he is some big super terrifying monster. Always baffled me, that

I love the Koquillion headdress. Definately one of the most interesting looking costumes of the era

I was going to say the same thing. It looked great. They should have saved it for a 'real' alien and made Bennets costume look more thrown together

I liked him. I found it all quite obvious, but character-wise I thought it was great
