I am not a huge fan of the movie, but one thing I will say is that Paul McGann is absolutely brillian as The Doctor and it really is a shame he only had the one outing on TV. I have listened to some of his audios and they have been excellent and you can really see the range in his character and his acting abilities. If they have any sort of multi Doctor story again, I really hope they do the right thing and give him another shot

If people haven't listened to his audios then they really are missing out, because the Eighth Doctor audios are some of the absolute best and really show what we are missing out on in that he only ever starred in the movie. The way he has developed the character, and his chemistry with companions such as Charley and Lucie is sizzling. Well worth a listen and a huge shame that so far that's really all we have

I agree.  It's a huge shame that Paul McGann didn't get to do more on TV, with someone like RTD or Moff who understood the show.  I haven't heard all his audios by a long way, but I've been very impressed with the ones I have.

I thought he was brilliant and it is a shame he was given quite a naff script to work with. It would definately be good to see him on screen as the Doctor again and I need to listen to more of his audios too. He is one of the only really faultless aspects of the movie

To be as good as he was with a script that bad was little short of miraculous. He took any number of duff lines and made them memorable, and created a Doctor that could stand with the others from practically nothing. He's since shown in the audios just how great a Doctor he can be when given a script that's worthy of him, and I would absolutely love to see him come back in a multi-Doctor story.

The one huge positive about this story is Paul Mcgann. What a great performance he put in, and one which he has bettered several times in the audios. He is the Doctor I would most like to see return out of all of them, because even though he isn't my favourite, I think he deserves a shot at a televised story with a good script that will show the world just how good he is as the Doctor, as I think many people miss out who don't listen to his audios

Brilliant. I've not listened to many of his audios but he is consistently good and just about saved this story from being a total waste of airtime

His performance here was great, and listening to his audios shows that he can be absolutely superb in the role. For me he is pretty much the only saving grace of the whole thing

Paul McGann was the best part of that movie.  I need to try and find some of those audios now I think...
