ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! THIS is Torchwood! Lots of references to "the other show" (including a certain coat), Jack being THE MAN again, awesome acting, story progression...it was just brilliant. Just a shame the front 5 episodes were a bit of a damp squib.

I gave this one a five. I just watched it last night and thought it was brilliant. I loved the stuff set in the 20s with Angelo and I just knew he would end up still being alive. There has to be more to that shot where we saw that woman taking a vial of Jack's blood. I thought initially that perhaps that was the key to the immortality but if that were the case then surely his children would be immortal too, and I am guessing Alice isn't, and his grandson definately wasn't.
One thing that puzzled me is the sex scene between Jack and Angelo. It wasn't particularly graphic but it was definately quite revealing, so why did the BBC allow this and not the other one, which was tamer?

I know Icey was there just before the show telling me it was really good, and he was there during it too trying to explain it to me... I was soooo lost in half of it and it really confused me throughout. And quite honestly I have no desire to rewatch it, so erm giving it a 2...

I gave it full marks. I love that it gave us a 'historical' episode of sorts, because I always like when we dip in to the history of Jack or the institute. This episode opened a nice amount of questions and answered a couple too. It was also brilliantly written and acted. It's a shame all the others had to take a back seat but it was nice to see Jack at the forefront again

I gave it a 4, but veering upwards rather than downwards. I enjoyed the backstory, although the twist at the end was a bit predictable (even though I've no idea how it's happened). I loved that there were several Whoniverse references, including the Trickster's Brigade. And I'm fairly sure I've seen that parasite somewhere before.

This has been by far the best episode so far, which while in itself is a good thing, it's a shame that it is happening so close to the end. I can't believe that with just three episodes left the story still seems as though it could be part of the opening two episodes. Nothing is happening and it is moving at a snails pace. I gave this episode a 5 because I thought it was genuinly great, but if I was rating the series as a whole so far I don't think it would get higher than a two

I went with a four. Brilliant episode with a great sub story but I marked it down for lack of action from the other characters. Interesting though that one of the best episodes of the season so far has been one that mainly focused on Jack and Gwen
