Not 100% about this one but there seemed to be a slight continuity error between the way ep 2 ended & ep 3 began. Ep 2 ended as you all know with an Auton stepping down off the platform & coming up behind Ransome (I think that was his name) which he turns & sees. When he turns at the start of ep 3 the Auton has already opened its hand to reveal its weapon - don't remember seeing that happening at the end of ep 2.
Also not a mistake, but did John Pertwee have a tattoo on one of his forearms? Sure I saw one during the shower scene.

In one of the episodes, I think 2 or 3, one of the Autons pulls off his gun.hand cover. It might not be a mistake but I have only ever seen them open on their own.

Yea I would call that a mistake, or at the least an inconsistency. I only remember them ever being automatic |

I don't think UNIT was ever really secret in the way Torchwood was, although the general assumption (like Liz's) was that they simply dealt with security issues. They always tend to be upfront about who they are.
