Ok, I am going to be a bit of a grump here. I wasn't keen on the title to begin with but in hindsight I suppose it is quite funny, especially given the fact that Hitler has nothing to do with the plot whatsoever, but my new grump is about the fact that it now feels like a wasted title opportunity. Without seeing the story it seems a bit silly anyway, but on watching and realising the story has nothing to do with Hitler just makes me think they could have gone with something more fitting to the episode.

Am I the only one moaning about this?

No, I'm sort of with you on this. It is sort of funny, but it's definately a wasted opportunity for something more awesome sounding

I loved the title. Great misdirection. Name the episode after Hitler, make a trailer showing Hitler thanking the Doctor for saving his life, then lock him in a cupboard for almost the entire episode. Sheer genius.

I've not been keen on it since it was announced, and even now I still wish it was something different

I think it's funny. Even moreso now that I think about how much fandom reacted to it for it not to actually mean anything at all

I hated it when I first heard it, but I love the idea of calling it that when it was irrelevant.

I grew used to it before the ep aired & now I love it.

BTW it trended on Twitter which led to some very confused tweets from non-Who watchers!  Tongue

At first I really hated it... Seems so controversial... and now looking back it seems like it was completely pointless.... like someone above said it's kind of been a wasted title that could have been a brilliant brilliant story!

(Inner German geek comes out) I was really cheesed that there wasn't more of N azi Germany and I mean what happened to Hitler?! Had nothing to do with N azi Germany OR Hitler... annoyed me very much! Wasted possible storyline!  Sad

I'm still not keen on the title. I understand the humour of it, but I just think its rubbish

I get the humour behind it, but I do think they wasted an opportunity for a kickass sounding title here. I'm finding a lot of the Moff titles quite hit and miss though tbh. The one for the finale of this series is rubbish

I don't like that it was a red herring... I was expecting a Hitler-based story, so no, I don't really like it
