The question that robot Amy mentioned but said was unknown, one that had been asked across galaxies for centuries or whatever. Just as Amy said 'Unknown' I shouted out
Doctor Who?
Did anyone else get that or was I being silly?

That is exactly the same thing that I did. I felt like a fool then though when that wasn't the question, but I do think that that was what the question was meant to be

I haven't given it much thought yet, my mind wandered when she mentioned 'the question' & the number 42 popped into my head (definitely in a funny mood today!) Could be that Doctor Who? is the question. Definitely one to think about.

My first thought was Doctor Who? as well. I can't think of any other big burning question surrounding the Doctor really that would fit with what was being said

I'm not sure it's necessarily a question about the Doctor, although its discovery certainly seems connected with him.

I thought "Doctor Who?" immediately also. Another consideration about the question is that it was the first and biggest question in the universe. Did anyone else catch that, or was I imagining that?

The Ultimate Question is either "How many roads must a man walk down?" or "What do you get if you multiply six by nine?" (proving the universe is terminally screwed up)

Having rewatched last night, I realised what they say is that Silence will fall when the question is asked, not answered. Very interesting.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was 'Doctor Who?' though I suppose that isn't really likely to pass as the most important question in the whole universe. You never know though

Going back to episode 1 of last season, Prisoner Zero said "The Universe is cracked. The Pandorica will open. Silence will fall." We've seen the Pandorica open 3 times - when the Doctor was put in, when Rory released him, and when Amelia touched it and released Amy. Could the question have something to do with any of those events? Hah, maybe it's "Where are my legs/bow tie/fez?", since those are the first things the Doctor looked for after he flew the Pandorica into the sun and regained consciousness. And Silence falls because everyone is looking dumbfounded at him.

I'm not sure if it would be Pandorica related. It was a big event but seemed like an isolated event and it hasn't even been mentioned this series. I might be wrong but that's my thought on it
