I knew Donna would win, but I have to admit the rest of the placings shocked me. I love Martha, but didnt expect her to do so well

Another choice that I can't really argue with. Like most people (even if secretly) I was very unsure about Catherine Tate - but hey, this is why I am not Exec Producer and Lead Writer I guess. It was a magical, inspired choice. And I didn't even mind that DoctorDonna stuff!

Glad to see Martha in the top three. She seems to get overlooked, but I really liked her. If she couldn't win though, Donna would be my second choice. I still remember my horror when I heard that the really irritating one from The Runaway Bride was going to be a full-time companion, but she ended up being a really strong, likeable character without ever straying so far from how she was originally written that it became unbelievable. Good writing, that!

Amy being in there shocked me. I like her, but the amount of hate she has had towards her made me think that she wouldnt have a chance

first post! YAY!! GO DONNA!!!

But really, I'm in no way a Rose lover, but I really expected her to take second or third place. She was a strong companion, even if she annoyed me. Also, I'm defintiely not an Amy lover either, and can't understand why she's even up there. I'm glad Martha did well. I like Martha.

as much as i love Donna, i thought she was great, but i feel that you cant beat a classic original, which was Rose Tyler. she was new, quirky, exciting, inquisitive, everything a good companion should be, Donna was some of those things, but a little too brash for my liking, the doctor is supposed to evidently be the guy in charge, and Donna took away some of that power. still love her though!  Cheesy
