One of the things I did actually like about this episode is that the stuff in the dolls house had a very classic feel to it and I couldn't shake the feeling of the Land Of Fiction from The Mind Robber. I realise I am probably alone on this but I thought I would mention it because while I don't know if it was intentional, it definately felt like a nice nod and I think would have fit well in that sort of story.

You know what, it wasn't my initial thinking, but now you mention it I can see where you are coming from. The stuff in the dollhouse would definately work in that sort of setting. And one of the dolls was dressed sort of like the toy soldiers from that story, so perhaps they were aware of the similarities in storytype

Perhaps its a bit of a running theme. There was a rumour/speculation that the next episode might be set in the void space type thing from the beginning of that story, so maybe they are meant to have a similar feel

I think its perhaps got that similar feeling because of the fantasy type element to it, rather than actually having any sort of relation or connection. I definately see where you are coming from though

It could also have fitted fairly well with the Toymaker.

I was thinking that too. Smiley
