That was one I was going to bring up. Silurian was a human name, and Sea Devils was just something a survivor was muttering. If a role on an important military base is so important that the base is crippled without it, wouldn't there be a redundancy automatically built in? Not just that there happens to be a student available who can do it? Turlough was telling Tegan the Doctor had drowned and there was nothing they could do when he'd been in the water a few seconds. And the pantomime horseMyrka (I'm only halfway through, though I've seen it before)

That was the one that I was going to say, too. Other than that I didn't spot anything

Perhaps not a production error, but the sets in this story were particularly shaky and carboard looking

The Silurians and Sea Devils referred to themselves as Silurians and Sea Devils.
This was the main thing that I noticed as well. Also, as TC pointed out the whole place looked very flimsy and unsecure

As far as inconsistencies go, I think the Doctor is worth a mention here. His character was all over the place throughout this story

I think the Doctor refers to them in Cold Blood/The Hungry Earth as homo reptiliens, but that would be a human name too. There's never been a reference to what they call themselves. "People", I presume.
