I don't know if perhaps it was intentional or just coincidence, but did anyone else spot all the visual references to The Eleventh Hour? We had the angry man and his angry dog, the little old confused lady, the woman with twins, a big eye ball, a child with scary stuff in their bedroom, a lady with twin girls, a perception filter, a clock that (if I remember rightly) was even stopped at the eleventh hour.
It all seems a bit much, if I am not reading too much into it, to be a coincidence, though I have no idea what the significance may be. Perhaps George will be the next companion or something? Its the only thing I can think of

Nice spot! I didn't even think about that. It does seem too odd to be a coincidence, but I don't see how it can possibly link to anything.

The eye was the only one I picked up on. When I saw it I immediately thought Atraxi but the rest of it passed me right by. I can't think of a single reason why they might be in there, but it is surely too much to be coincidence

The eye was the only thing I noticed too. Now all those other things have been pointed out though I'm dying to know why there were so many. It can't be a coincidence. Saying that though, it also held many similarities to Fear Her. Scary things in the wardrobe. Lonely aliens in the form of children. People being taken out of reality and plonked somewhere else. Distraught parent/s needing help with a child etc. Maybe Gatiss just took two stories and wrote his story around them or something?

Nope. That all went way above my head. I noticed the eyeball but that was it. I did however, like PP, think it was very similar to Fear Her

I just thought of another one. The dark shadow running past the screen about ten minutes in to the episode. It's like the one in Amy's kitchen.
Anyone know what this shadow was? Did it get explained or something? It moved way to fast to be one of the dolls

I just assumed it was one of the dolls, but now you mention it it did move very differently from them. As for the rest, I didn't spot anything other than the eye, but I did think it was very similar to Fear Her
