Seems fair, although in some ways SJA is closer to what DW used to be.

Not unexpected. I prefer SJA myself, but Torchwood has its moments too. Especially Children Of Earth, which I thought was just about the best thing I'd seen all that year!

I went for SJA because it's consistently good, I'm not a fan of early TW I'm afraid Sad

You know what, I love Torchwood but after having watched SJA I think it is more of a contender than I first give it credit for. My vote went to Trochwood originally, but I think I would be more torn if I had to vote again

Oh really?

I find SJA too basic and aimed too young =/

I just bought the other 3 PROBE Videos off Ebay, so now I have all 4! Cheesy I enjoyed Devil of Winterborne

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.R.O.B.E. for more info Smiley

Its a bit strange, its not an actual spin off, but its a tie in Tongue Worth a watch though Smiley

In many ways it is, but thats the point of it I guess and when watched in context it is really enjoyable and fun. Its aimed at a younger audience, but the show has grown up a lot since the first episode as, I guess, the audience has with it. Its young enough to appeal to the younger audience, yet old enough to appeal to everyone else. A lot like DW I guess

I thought  SJA was aimed at 8 year olds? and DW at 12? I always get this wrong mind...

For me, Torchwood is that much better, but I do agree with what Peri said about it SJA being accessible to all, and it really is very good. You should try some of the newer episodes out

Are you talking to me? *looks confused* I've watched every episode of both SJA and Torchwood.... I dont like to give an opinion till i have a basis in great detail, like watching as many Eps as I can....  Undecided

Torchwood HAD to get it. There weren't many spinoffs, so it was really it versus SJA.
