I know we keep going back to the Melody thing, but I think this is a good thing to bring up.

One of the arguments for Amy and Rory not fighting the fight in order to get her back is because they know she has an existing time line and it couldn't/shouldn't be messed with, but the main crux of this episode was the fact that they both, Amy in particular, are exactly the type of people who would go ahead and do that despite the risks and that if anyone is going to fight to make it happen, it would be Amy, but yet we still haven't seen them do anything to fight to get her back.

I'm past criticising that aspect of the story because it obviously isn't changing, but I thought it was worth highlighting.

An excellent point. The whole baby stuff is really annoying to me, but again this is another reason why they should be making more of it. We keep seeing these things which make you think that it should spark some sort of reaction, but still there isn't one, so I can only now assume that that is for a reason and it will be explained later. I hope that's it, anyway

My initial thought when that was all mentioned was that it was a hint to the Melody situation so I wouldnt be at all surprised to see it come up again as a plot point later

They will only start caring again when it suits the overall story. This week and last week there was no need to mention her so we haven't seen or heard anything, but as soon as the story calls for it they will get all worried again and start acting like they care.

I find this particular part of their story very frustrating

I'll third this statement. I think its very bad storytelling to keep ignoring it the way they do, especially when we know it will be revisited

This has been my biggest gripe with series 6. I really hope it gets explained with some sort of mind wipe or something because otherwise I can't think of a single reason why that baby isn't being mentioned or looked for
