The title of the story was changed shortly before transmission and was originally to be called The Flight Of The Chimeron

Lynn Gardner was originally cast as Ray but was injured during rehearsals with the motorbike. The actress still received full pay but Sara Griffiths took over the role.

The site of the holiday camp is also where they filmed the bomb crash site in The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances

They also (I think) used the old outdoor pool for filming on Series 2 of Torchwood, but I can't remember the name of the episode. I think it was called 'From Out Of The Rain'
