Ok, so just for fun if you could choose someone to be the next companion who would you go for? Rather than an exhaustive list I have just gone with some of the more prominant characters from Series 6 (though feel free to mention if you would prefer someone not on the list). It's just imaginary so I added Idris and also put Craig in because we know he is coming back and we also know what his character is like. Jenny and Vastra come as a pair so I added them as one option. I also changed the poll so that you can choose two options  Vote away |

I went for Jenny and Vastra and Rita. I would have liked Canton as well. I think Canton and Rita would make a good pairing, but if it was Jenny and Vastra I would like just the two of them. Though I am not sure having another couple in the TARDIS would be a good idea. Besides, they need a spin off so they can't be companions as well  |

Canton and Rita. What a great pairing they would make. Two strong and likeable characters who I think would work well together and also with the Doctor.

I went for Idris!!!!! One of the biggest, if not THE biggest highlights of the season for me. And being as this is an imaginary poll.... she can be a companion!!!
