So what was that all about then? A famous model? Signing autographs. I'm guessing the perfume is her own rather than just modelling for it based on it's name.
Anyone know whats happened?

I'm guessing it will all be explained when we see them again next week. Unless it's just meant to show that she has gone on to be successful after her life with the Doctor with no deeper meaning to it.
Of course it could just be a cheeky poke at the fact Karen is always doing sexy photo shoots?

I think it will be addressed next week. It really would only take a line. Surely if nothing else, the Doctor will at least want to know why she was signing autographs

I'd imagine that it will be explained in the next episode. It seemed a bit odd just on it's own but when we know more it will probably make more sense

YES!  Haha yeah I'm intrigued to know the answer to this, but whatever it was it's nice to show that people can go on and live happy, normal, successful life after travelling with the Doctor... |

Me either. It felt more odd seeing them for that brief bit than it did to not have them there at all. I'm not their biggest fan anyway, but I did expect they would leave more of a gap |

Yea I can't say I particularly missed them. In fact, it was nice to have an episode that wasn't all about them. They seem to have taken a lot of the focus this series. It's almost been like the Doctor is their companion.

In terms of the perfume stuff, I just put a big post in the mistakes thread which is too much to retype here, so check there As for missing them, I didn't. Perhaps that could be down to the fact that we had a familiar face in Craig to fill the gap. If it was a new random character we may have missed the regulars a bit more. I think it just shows though that Eleven can more than cope without them and I will be happy to get some new companions. |
