That scene was one of my favourites from the story. Frances Barber is absolutely brilliant. She has this terrifyingly menacing grin and just comes accross as pure evil but really watchable. I can't wait for the next episode, but I have this niggling feeling that it will all be a bit too action packed for 45 minutes. There is still a lot of ground to cover as well as the new stuff that is being put in as well so I hope it all comes together. But yea, that scene with those two has made me so excited for the finale.

I know what you mean about FB. She is awesome. This scene definately built up the anticipation for next week. I do have the same concerns though about fitting everything in. I really hope they don't leave loads of stuff hanging over until next year.

Frances Barber is brilliant at everything she does, but she is really impressing as Kovarian. It's not often Alex Kingston gets a scene stolen from right under her, but it happened tonight.

I was just really happy to see River back. I know it's only been a few weeks but it feels like ages since we saw her last. It was a great scene and really got me excited for the finale

This was my favourite scene of the whole episode! I didn't expect it at all so when they both came on the screen I very nearly did the Numfar Dance Of Joy!

One of things that struck me about that scene is how terrified River was of Kovarian. That takes something impressive. Or maybe River isn't afraid of anything anymore because of her experience with Kovarian...

I thought this was one of the best scenes of the whole episode. It was a nice surprise because I knew nothing about it and they played it brilliantly. It was also nice to finally get some confirmation about who was in the suit. FB and AK have such good chemistry so it's made me even more excited for the finale.

I loved this scene. It was nice to see both of them again and they played well off each other. They'd potentially make a great partnership.
Who's Numfar, btw?

I really enjoyed the scene, but I wish it wasn't tacked on to the end of the episode. I think it would have worked even better if they had used it as the prequel to the next episode.

I can absolutely see why you say that, but I disagree. It seems that the prequels lack that feeling of canon, and I would hate for that to happen to a scene that good.

I don't think the prequels lack the feel of canon, but I bet 6m people aren't logging on to watch them, so it would have been a shame for so many people to miss it.
