We in America got Meredith Vieira, who use to be on the Today show, was it the same person in the United Kingdom?

Or did they use someone else in your version, like they did with the voice of Harv in the cartoon 'Cars'...You got the voice of Jeremy Clarkson, but here we got the voice of Jeremy Piven.

Meredith Vieira is credited in the cast-list as "herself".  I didn't know her, but then I often don't recognise TV announcers and the like.

They showed her reading those lines in one of the Confidentials.  I can't remember which one now.

Yea it was the same woman on both sides of the pond. She came over to the UK to film the scene as part of a segment on the show she works on in the US. It was called Anchors Abroad I think. We don't get that show in the US, so I assume 99% of the people watching would have just assumed she was an actress like Trinity Wells or something. There is a whole thread on it (in the spoiler section I think)
