Suppose (hyperthetically) you got a chance to have a cameo on Doctor Who - perhaps you win a contest - and they ask you what you'd ideally want to do.  What would you choose?

I think I'd want to get exterminated - very showily.

To be honest I'd be quite happy with person/alien in the background ... although (just because I'd love to wear the costume) I would prefer that to be in an historical episode  Smiley

Yea, PRG has the right idea. Something historical. A nice period dress with corsets and wigs would be awesome. Or something with a big death scene. Or Rory's new love interest. Perhaps Rory's new love interest from 1764 who dies? Tongue

The TARDIS materialises onstage in a theatre in the middle of a pantomime - I'm sure you can guess the rest...

I sense a theme to your thought process Cheesy

I would love to play a baddie - preferably clad in leather like Catwoman Tongue A cameo would be acceptable as long as I get 'killed off' by something iconic Cheesy  Afro

I'd be some sort of mystic healer and I would work out a way to let Donna travel with the Doctor again. Failing that, death by Cyber Conversion sounds good to me

Hmmm.... Anything as long as I'd get a chance to travel in the TARDIS and meet the Doctor  Cheesy Azn Tongue

I think I would like to be a character similar to Yvonne Hartman. She had balls.

Hm... I'd like to have a role that's important, but no one would recognise me for it (because I'm just weird that way), like the voice of a Dalek or something. If I couldn't play a Dalek, then I dunno...

If it were me I'd want something with lots of makeup and prosthetics so I could get a feel for the whole process of it. I wouldn't mind what sort of character I was, but I would like a huge death scene. That would be cool. Something memorable.

I'd want to be a companion. I wouldn't mind dying or whatever, but I would want a couple of adventures. Maybe an 'Adam' length role. If it had to be a smaller more cameo type role then I'd want to be a Silurian with a couple of lines and some badass fighting moves.

I'd like to be someone who meets the Doctor, of course....

And i think I'd want to die by Cyber conversion, sacrificing myself so they don't take someone else to convert... Yeah. I'd like that Cheesy

I wouldn't appear unless they let me have a go at the big role. I'd want to be Doctor number 12. Now as for a costume (not that i've spent 35 years thinking of this) I'd have an Indiana Jones type of outfit on. The roughty-toughty archeologist would be my Doctor. And i'd probably want Claire Foy as my companion. And i'd demand a white TARDIS interior with proper roundels.

EDIT: I know it goes against the premise of the original post but I wouldn't play a bit part for fear it would ruin my chances of being the Doctor. Not that it hurt Colin Baker ... or Mark Sheppard Wink
