The scenario the Doctor describes of a solar system forming wouldn't create the vast energy needed to tear the TARDIS apart, and it wouldn't create the blinding light seen outside.

When you look out into the void you can see the floor and wall of the studio

This is what I was going to mention. I didn't notice any walls but the floor is dead obvious.

This certainly isn't a mistake as far as this story's concerned, but it does create an inconsistency with later developments (inconsistency in Doctor Who? Never).  The Doctor claims (and repeats this in The Daleks Invasion of Earth) that the events on Skaro in The Daleks were in the distant future.  However, we're told in that story that the entire history of the Daleks, from the war that caused the mutations to the attack on the Dalek city was five hundred years.  So how could the Daleks invade Earth in the 22nd century (given that they don't seem to have time-travel by then).

In addition, Frontier in Space/Planet of the Daleks is supposed to take place in the 26th century, and the story of the Doctor's visit is already an old legend among the Thals.  That means The Daleks can't have taken place much later than the present day, if not earlier.

No wonder the fast-return switch didn't work Cool

Susans socks disapear. Sometimes she is wearing them, other times she isn't.
