I went with series 4 because although I am not a huge Tennant fan it was consistently brilliant. If I were to rank them it would be:
Series 4 Series 5 Series 1/Series 6 (Probably tied but at a push I would put 6 over 1) Series 3 The Specials Series 2

I went with Series 4 as well and I would rank them the same as Saber, except I would put 1 above 6

S4 because of consistently good stories, some of which are amongst my favourites, not to mention... DONNA!!!!!!!!!
S4 S6 S2 S1 S5 S3 ... The Specials
I loved 'Waters of Mars' but it doesn't make up for the other atrocities

I chose series 4. I think (although series 5 came close) it will be a long time until that one is topped. My rankings are:
Series 4 Series 5 Series 6 Series 1 The Specials Series 3 Series 2

Series 6 Series 4 It was really hard to choose between these two, but I really like the more serious tone of 6, and I hate what happened to Donna! Series 1 Series 5 Series 3 Specials WOM was really good, and some awesome moments in EOT, but.... not that many. Series 2

Series 5 Series 6 Series 1 Series 4 Series 3 The Specials Series 2
Series 5/6 was hard to choose between, but ultimately I went with 5 - after 4 years of Ten I was so so thrilled to have a Doctor I loved again and a series finale that didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. Series 5 made the show go from "meh" to "AWESOME" for me. Series 1/4 were also close, but again, I liked Nine way more than Ten. I thought series 2 was so abysmal I almost quit watching the show.

After much soul searching I went with Series 1. If that had been flop I don't think we'd be here talking about 6 seasons of Nu Who. My next favourite is season 6. I always love the show when its taking chances and being a bit daring and despite the many many unresolved questions, I loved the sheer scope of what it was trying to achieve. I would then say Season 4, because I loved Catherine Tate and there were so few weak stories. Season 5 is next (although 4th in my list, I absolutely loved it) but there was a couple of stories that were a bit hit and miss. Season 3 would be next, i don't think Freema was the strongest companion, some of the stories were a bit weak (and the Daleks were horribly misused). Then comes season 2 which although last is not bad by any means and had some amazing moments in it.
