So I found out today in one of the posts PP made that this story is apparantly Doctor/Rose Lite. Did anyone else notice, because I didn't. They didn't seem to be in it any less than normal. Not that I noticed, anyway

Er I guess it is a little Doctor/Rose lite, but not AS lite as some of the newer ones (L&M, Blink...) but no I wouldn't have placed it as one of the ones they don't appear much in.

No I'd never have thought of this as a Doctor-Lite episode

I wouldn't call this Doctor-lite. Was it double banked with another story which is maybe why its being classed that way? Because there didn't seem particularly like there was less Doctor than normal.

According to the wiki it was double banked, so it could possibly just mean that rather than actually being 'lite'. I would never have thought it had I not seen this page.

It probably is just because it was double banked. Every other Doctor-lite story has been a double banked story so in that respect I suppose it would make sense to bunk it all in together.

I think PP is nearest to correct with this. The wiki page says:

This episode, perhaps more than any other in series 1, pointed out the utility of double banking. The experience of producing The Long Game would lead directly to the introduction of the Doctor- or companion-lite episode that was a consistent structural element of future series.

So wasn't actually Doctor-Lite itself. Thats the way I read it anyway.
