Australian kids shows, in my experience, are always a bit naff, so in context this isnt so bad. Its awful, but watchable.

I watched this and wasn't impressed, but there was just enough there that I'll probably stick with the series for a bit and see if it improves.

I didn't like the redesigned K9, and I found the storytelling rather wooden, especially at the end, where nothing really happened - it just stopped.  The acting wasn't great, and the accents annoyed me.  If their actors can't do English accents, why not set the show in Oz?

I'm up to episode 5.  I definitely wouldn't bother if it weren't DW related, but there's just enough to keep me watching.

There was actually a nice little detail in #4, which suggests they're trying to get round the ban on mentioning anything from Doctor Who.  During a news broadcast, there was a news strap going across the bottom.  One of the stories involved a massive lottery jackpot having been won by a "Mr Smith", whose whereabouts are unknown.  It could refer either to "John Smith" or the computer - my money's on the Doctor.
