Is it just me, or was BOSS sort of pointless and unneeded in this story? I know they like their psycho computers in Who, but I think the story would have worked just as well had it been left out. There was enough going on with the maggots and everything else and BOSS just seemed a bit tacked on without any real need or point. Having it there didn't bring down the story or anything like that, but it just seemed a bit pointless.

I don't think it was pointless, and I quite liked the scenes involving BOSS and the 'possessed' people, but I do think the story would have been fine without it's inclusion.

I liked the BOSS subplot. Perhaps it could be argued that it wasn't entirely needed but I thought it added weight to the story and worked well so I am glad they kept it in.

I love BOSS.  He's got far more personality than some of the humans, and it makes sense that a computer would take the industry tunnel vision to that extreme.

I agree with Nyki. I thought the BOSS story was a great addition to the plot.
